We utilise a lightweight portable ECG for recording resting and exercising ECGs. This is useful both where we suspect an arrhythmia (irregular heart rhythm) having listened to the heart as well as in the investigation of poor performance problems where abnormalities may only be occurring during exercise. The machine records the ECG during the exercise period and stores the data for later computer analysis.
