AI Package 2013
We offer a full range of reproductive services from routine pre-breeding swabbing of mares though artificial insemination to daily visits to larger studs. We can offer in depth investigations into poor fertility in mares and stallions including uterine biopsy and semen evaluation.
Several of our vets are experienced and interested in Artificial Insemination(AI) and we perform an increasing number of mare inseminations using fresh and chilled semen each season with excellent success rates. In addition we are on the British Equine Veterinary Association List of approved practices for AI using chilled and frozen semen. This year we are pleased to welcome Ben Sullivan and Kate Blakeman to our team. Both are highly experienced in both natural covering and all forms of AI and we are now pleased to also offer embryo transfer via a transported embryo service.
Depending on the location of the mare the monitoring and insemination may be performed either at the home stables or at our clinic. We are also in a position to offer insemination with frozen semen for which the mare would in most cases reside at our clinic while in season to allow the required monitoring.
