Beth joined Western Counties Equine Hospital in 2016 as a groom helping the nurse's in the barn. She started her nurse training in 2017 with the Open College of Equine Studies and is now a qualified RVN. Beth's main interests are nutrition, laboratory, in-patient care and assisting with the MRI unit in the hospital.
Outside of work she enjoys riding her horse, walking in the countryside with her dog and baking.
Our purpose built hospital, opened in November 2002, nestles on the edge of the Blackdown Hills in a peaceful, tranquil environment yet is easily accessible being only 10 minutes drive from Junctions 26 and 27 of the M5. Servicing the counties of Devon and Somerset, it is a facility second to none in the Westcountry and since opening we have invested in a continued program of development and improvements. This culminated in October 2009 with the award of RCVS Equine Hospital status, the highest level of accreditation available, reflecting the high level of veterinary expertise, nursing care and facilities available.
