Hazel Clewley - Associate BVetMedHons MRCVS
Hazel joined the team at the beginning of October having moved to area from Cornwall. She qualified at the Royal Veterinary College and initially followed a career in mixed and large animal practice, then specialising in more recent years solely on an equine role.She has worked in a broad range of environments and her particular interests are sports horse medicine, poor performance and acupuncture.
Outside of work Hazel enjoys eventing her horse and has Ted, a new puppy to accompany her when out and about visiting clients.

Our purpose built hospital, opened in November 2002, nestles on the edge of the Blackdown Hills in a peaceful, tranquil environment yet is easily accessible being only 10 minutes drive from Junctions 26 and 27 of the M5. Servicing the counties of Devon and Somerset, it is a facility second to none in the Westcountry and since opening we have invested in a continued program of development and improvements. This culminated in October 2009 with the award of RCVS Equine Hospital status, the highest level of accreditation available, reflecting the high level of veterinary expertise, nursing care and facilities available.
