The team are delighted to welcome Phoebe back to Western Counties having spent her training year here she has now completed her studies at Hartpury College and qualified as an Equine Nurse.
Outside of work Phoebe has been enjoying some down time from studying and is looking forward to having the opportunity to socialise with family and friends
Our purpose built hospital, opened in November 2002, nestles on the edge of the Blackdown Hills in a peaceful, tranquil environment yet is easily accessible being only 10 minutes drive from Junctions 26 and 27 of the M5. Servicing the counties of Devon and Somerset, it is a facility second to none in the Westcountry and since opening we have invested in a continued program of development and improvements. This culminated in October 2009 with the award of RCVS Equine Hospital status, the highest level of accreditation available, reflecting the high level of veterinary expertise, nursing care and facilities available.
